Edge system
The Edge is a PC running the SkafRemix Edge software (Windows) that stays in your venue. The standard box runs Basic, Flow and Crowd; Party and Enterprise need the performance box with an NVIDIA graphics card. You buy the box once or include it in the monthly price.

The Edge box sits quietly on the shelf behind the bar, connects to the sound system and the screens, and keeps playing locally, even without internet.

Connections
- Audio
- To your sound system via the PC’s audio outputs or a USB audio interface.
- Screens
- Via HDMI or DisplayPort. Connected screens are detected and set up automatically at the Edge.
- Network
- Ethernet recommended; Wi-Fi possible.
- USB
- For a USB audio interface and accessories.
- Power
- A standard power socket near the sound system.
- Microphone & controllers
- Microphone paths (for example for karaoke) are checked in the venue check.

Requirements
- Box version
- Standard box (€350): no NVIDIA graphics card, for Basic, Flow and Crowd. Performance box (€1,000): NVIDIA graphics card with at least 6 GB of memory, for Party and Enterprise.
- Sound system
- A sound system with a free input—we check the connection in the venue check.
- Internet
- Needed for cloud features (guest QR requests and votes, staff web page, remote changes)—not for local playback.
- Space
- Room for the Edge near the sound system; details in your offer.
- Screens
- Optional. Without screens, SkafRemix runs with audio only.
- Network type
- Wired Ethernet (recommended) or Wi-Fi.
Installation
- Who installs
- The SkafRemix team sets up the Edge remotely, free of charge. On-site installation is available on request.
- Duration
- Depends on your sound system, screens and network; we plan the date and steps in the venue check.
- Tests
- Together with your contact on site we test the audio outputs, the screens and the offline fallback.
- What you prepare
- Access to the sound system and cables, network access (LAN port or Wi-Fi), optional screens with HDMI or DisplayPort and one contact person.
Operation
- Offline
- Playback continues locally and staff control the show via the Edge launcher and the remote keys. Guest requests, votes, the staff web page and remote changes pause and resync after reconnection.
- Local music
- How much music is prepared locally is set up for your profile during setup.
- Updates
- Signed updates are prepared in advance and activated only while the show is stopped—never during a running night.
- Status & errors
- Status and problems are shown in the Edge launcher and in your business workspace.
- If something goes wrong
- Keep the music running locally, then contact support by email, phone or WhatsApp.
Service
- Model
- Buy the box once—it is yours once paid—or include it in the monthly price with a €30 box share per month; then it is yours after the last share.
- Replacement
- How a defective device is replaced is set out in your offer.
- Support
- By email, phone and WhatsApp; for Enterprise, service levels are agreed individually.
- Remote diagnosis
- Our team can help remotely—only with your approval.
