Scope and data-minimal design

This notice covers the public SkafRemix marketing website. The website itself sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers or analytics services; the hosting and security layer can set its own cookies (see below). Language switching is a page preference and is not written to persistent browser storage by the website.

Technical delivery and security

Hosting and security providers may process ordinary request metadata, including IP address, timestamp, requested resource, response status and browser information, to deliver the website, prevent abuse and maintain availability. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable commercial website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Such operational data is retained only for the period required for delivery, security and applicable legal obligations.

Browsers may automatically send technical security reports when a page element conflicts with the website's Content Security Policy. From such a report only the affected policy rule, the origin of the blocked resource and the page path (without query parameters) are written to the hosting log to keep the website secure; no IP address or other identifier is stored with it.

Cookies of the hosting and security layer

When a page is delivered, the hosting platform and its security provider Cloudflare can set their own cookies in the browser: __cf_bm (Cloudflare bot and abuse protection, valid for about 30 minutes), cf_clearance (set only after a Cloudflare security check, valid for up to about one year) and __Host-appgarden-visitor (a visitor cookie of the hosting platform, valid for about 90 days). Cloudflare may also run a short automatic browser check to block automated abuse. These cookies belong to the technical delivery and security described above; the website code does not read them.

Anonymous usage events (only if enabled)

If the operator enables it, the website counts selected interactions, such as a click on "Request a pilot", starting or finishing the demo, opening a package, starting or sending the contact form, a click on WhatsApp or phone, a language change or video progress. Each event contains only its name, the page, the website language and a short technical label (for example which button). No cookies, no device or advertising identifiers and no form contents are used, and the events are sent only to this website, not to third-party analytics services. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in improving the website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Pilot, demo and business enquiries

Submitting the pilot or contact form sends the entered business and contact details, venue type, city/country, the confirmation that the privacy information was read, the selected language and any optional details you add (request type, number of locations, capacity, opening or event days, current music setup, main music problem, preferred start or demo date, package interest and preferred contact channel) to the SkafRemix business service. The website form briefly keeps the sending IP address in memory to limit repeated submissions; it is not stored with the enquiry. The enquiry is stored with a reference so the team can follow it up. When e-mail delivery is enabled, a confirmation to the provided email address and an internal notification are queued; a repeated identical submission is handled without creating a duplicate enquiry or a second confirmation. This does not create a subscription, charge a payment or subscribe the visitor to a marketing mailing list. Enquiry data is used to answer the request and prepare requested pre-contractual or contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for ordinary B2B communication, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. It is kept until the enquiry is completed and then only as long as contractual or statutory record duties require.

Optional video and external contact links

The interactive product tour runs as an illustrative simulation. If an external video is offered, it is loaded only after you choose to load it; its provider then receives ordinary connection metadata such as your IP address. If an audio sample is offered, it is loaded only when you start playback. Email and WhatsApp links open the chosen communication service, whose own privacy terms apply.

Recipients and international processing

Data is shared only where needed with providers supporting website hosting, security, email and business communication, or where disclosure is legally required. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, SkafRemix relies on an applicable adequacy mechanism or appropriate safeguards required by data-protection law.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may contact SkafRemix at the address above and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, including the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen at ldi.nrw.de.
